There might be the odd 06 knocking about , there was only a handful of unregistered 182 's left in the UK when i bought mine in February .Mines 3 weeks off being an 06 , i could have stuck in the garage for 3 weeks then registered it but couldn't be without a car for 3 weeks .

If its as bad as you say with lots of chips your only option will be a respray i'm afraid . If it was the odd chip here and there you could have done them yourself using this guide but you'll be doing them til next Christmas with this guide if its really bad ...

Mine always goes up . Shop around like Rich said then go back to your original insurer and they will usually better it . Adrian Flux knocked off £165 from their renewal quote for me cos privelige bettered it and i had proof . I've never accepted any renewal quote ever .

Ideally it should be mixed in a ratio of 60% anti freeze to 40% water . Too much anti freeze can be almost as bad as too little if the outside temp drops to below freezing . You can buy anti freeze testers for a few quid if your unsure about the strength of the mixture ...

Try rubbing the disc with megs scratch X . You can buy products that supposedly remove scratches from discs which will do the same as the scratch x . Your effectively making the surface smooth again so the laser can either be absorbed into the pits on the disc or be reflected from the reflective...

I agree . A car thats been well looked after will command a higher price when it comes to selling . Chances are that somebody who has taken the time , effort and money to maintain the car visually will also have looked after it mechanically regardless of cost imo . At the end of the day...

I think your pretty limited in what kind of box / enclosure you design due to the lack of space in the engine bay . I've made a custom enclosure for my 182 , with a K+N cone filter inside , the surface area of the filter is larger than that of the standard panel filter and it definitely hasn't...

You can always dilute the wonder wheels 50/50 same with the fairy power spray .

They'll probably dry faster when you drive , as the calipers get hot and will cure the paint .

5 hours will probably be ok .I was just thinking that it'll be easier for you if you clean and paint them off the car . Personally i'd paint them Saturday fit them Sunday .

If they are already off the car it'll be easier to paint them , then fit them .

If your leaving the calipers on the car i would paint them with a brush , if your taking them off the car i'd spray them and just mask the piston up , split the caliper and pad carrier .Painting them on the car is alot quicker , but its easier to clean them off the car imo .

People prefer different clients . Some torrent sites won't let you use certain clinets . I always use bit tornado , works fine for me and all the torrent sites allow it :)

It takes a couple of hours to go dry to the touch , leave it 24 hours would be best imo so any brake dust , dirt etc won't bond to the paint . But i have seen on here somebody who painted them and drove it straight away . Its up to you at the end of the day really .
