Your brake pads are worn down , causing low brake fluid level . Common problem mate .First check the condition of your pads they might need replacing , if they are ok just top up the brake fluid reservoir and that will sort it out .
^^^^ Yeah it definitely sounds like conflicting stories from Renault UK . Makes you wonder whos right and whos wrong .
Yeah you could phone them , get em to put your car on their system with your vin number .
The new greenstuff pads are supposed to be good . I'm gonna go for them when i need to change them , plus you get virtually no brake dust on your wheels .

Same pads as the meganes .Search for part number R64276FG for the pads and R60139 for the discs ...
^^^^ I bought a 182 from motorpoint in February of this year . They told me that i only got 2 years warranty and no AA assistance .
I rang Renault customer services and gave them my vin number . They told me that if it was intended for Cyprus or came from Holland you only got 1 years...
For one it depends on how clued up on the car you are if it was say an exhaust , some people wouldn't have a clue it was an upgrade or standard .
Other things like a matched inlet manifold you wouldn't know , its not a visible mod , also with a remapped ecu or grp n ( 172/ 182's ) you'd have...
I didn't have any problems with flux , the claim was sorted straight away . Adrian Flux are only the brokers , they usually use Royal Sun Alliance insurance so if there is any hold up i would imagine its from the people who actually pay you out or pay for the repairs .
Tbh i'm not bothered what the 197 runs on , cos i won't be buying one , imo they look crap .
I had an invitation to drive one from my local dealership , but i was busy that night , i was washing my hair , lol ;)
Never heard anybody having any issues with a grp n . All i knowfrom what i've read is that once the grp n ecu is fitted to a car its locked to that car , but you can get get them unlocked again to fit another car then once fitted to the new car its locked again to that car . That would be the...
Oooooh , wrong side of the bed or what , lol . Go through life believing everything your read and hear then . 95 ron will be fine in the 185 / 197 or whatever its called , lol :rasp:
Your better off doing a search , its been discussed alot on here , quite a few people have them and all report that its a big improvement .

Also an alternative is remapping . pmurray on here is supposed to be the dogs danglies when it comes to...
Iirc its something to do with the car being French i.e the steering wheel is on the left so the door would or could have been used on a French clio , hence having the key hole on the passenger door . My old 172 had em on both doors , my 182 has it on the passenger door .
So has it just started running rough recently ? Did you get any sort of warranty with the car ? Seems a bit funny why Renault would change the plugs at 36k when its not due until 72k .
Was it running ok after the plugs where changed ? Has it just started to run rough recently , if so it could still be your plugs then .I know the plugs have a recommeded life of 72k but imo thats very optimistic , mine lasted 30k .
I was gonna suggest plugs , as my 172 was running rough up until around 3k , loss of power , lump etc ... i took it to the local bosch main agent who put it on the comp and it showed the plugs needed changing , changed the plugs and it was fine .
What plugs did you put in ? Maybe the gap on...
