Firstly, you've said I haven't appreciated the improvments in the 197, I've said in the previous post that they do what the 1*2's can't. Or did you not write that? Why compare a car to older generations, much more relevant to compare to current competition.

I really do like that car, but please get rid of the horrendous exhaust trim. Ruins the rear, negates the purpose of the diffuser, and makes the exhaust look cheap and small.
Not sure why, but whenever 197's come up, the owners/fans immediately begin comparing to the 1*2's. Overcompensating? Why not just face facts, the 197 does what the 1*2's can't, and vice versa.
182cup interior (bar the door card fabric) isn't the different to the 182. 197's is no where near as nice as standard 197 (cheaper plastic, nastier steering wheel, most importantly no steering reach adjustment).
