How old are you? I just turned 25 when i got my clio, with 5 years no claims and its £330 @ direct line. You should be able to find a decent insurance company out there!

hey Something odd i found today, I fitted a new air filter and today when driving i found that with my foot planted down i would get less acceleration than if it was say 3/4 of the way down... Seems very odd but i don't feel like the car is going any slower. Anyone else had this sort of issue?

I think its the bottles age that makes the coolant look brown, the coolant was new 4 weeks ago

Its not exactly insurance fraud... Just inform them that the named driver will most likely use it more. Its exactly what i did on my wifes car.. and i drove it 80% of the time

Yea do the 172, then insure it in parents name on direct line and become a named driver. You will get no claims too.

Soooo fitted a nice air filter today. Looks nice, sounds much the same although I haven't driven anywhere.

As MicKPM has said. Its the Climate Control Temp Sensor. If you remove it the Computer wont know the temp inside the car and the Flap that moves to mix Hot/Cold will get stuck on hot or cold. What you need to do it take it out, Pop off the cap where the wires are, Then Gently Pry the motor...

Yup, Its the Precat one I bought (although though they were the same). Hopefully its going to work. My Commute its 21Miles there and the same back, Car SAYS I'm doing 35MPG Average But when i work it out at the pump its doing between 23 and 26Mpg, So for me there is an issue.

This is the sort of thing i like to read, I hope for at least 6MPG increase and any more will be a bonus!

Im not complaining about it. I would like it to at least give me the advertised MPG. If it's not then something is wrong and needs to be fixed. And that's what I'm doing ;)

How much was the Genuine exhaust from renault? I want to go quiet and feel thats the best way to do it. They are rare as anything second hand.
