I took my 182 in to Sunwins , Preston today fot them to look and hopefully fix the front end squeaking , sounded like something needed oiling , that kinda sound . Also to get em to look at the coolant temp sensor , since its decided to do a little dance on the temp guage 3 times in the last...
No problem mate . I don't want to see somebody paying out money if they don't need to . Let us know how you get on will ya ?
When you get it sorted with renault . Get the AA to tow the car to your nearest Renault dealership and they will sort it out free , under the warranty :)
Phone Renault UK , give them the cars details . They will tell you what cover you have . Then get back onto carcraft mate , cos they have misold you the warranty and RAC cover , you didn't need it .
If they say hard luck , then tell them that your going to seek legal advice .
Yeah bit you've already got a full 3 warranty from Renault and 3 years AA assistance FREE .
Do you know where carcraft sourced the car from , is it an import ?
If you want to find out phone Renault customer services , give em your reg number or VIN number , they will tell you exactly...
Or you could go for the ebc greenstuff for a not much more . And before anybody starts bleating on about the rear brakes do fcuk all , they do about 25% of the braking , my rear alloys are covered in brake dust so they must be working .
The greenstuff pads give off fcuk all dust ;)...
You have an 06 plate 182 ? You get 3 years warranty from Renault FREE and 3 years AA cover FREE . Get back on to carcraft mate . They've misold you the warranty and RAC cover , robbing b*stards .How much was it if you don't mind me asking ?

I looked a couple today in sunwins in Preston , black and racing blue . Still don't like the look of em tbh . They had a F1 Meggy in , now i'd have that , even with the stickers , lol .
Got to agree with Rich . Sounds like its probably an acid based cleaner . Spraying it on the unpainted manifold / plenum might actually turn it black .
Usually the paintless dent removal companies charge around £30 - £50 a panel , so seeing as your roof is one panel i would say around £50 tops .
Your best doing asearch on yell.com for a company near your unless you know somebody who's used one before and can recommend their work .
Its only funny cos sheep boy won't have it that it might just be a good headunit and if its sh*t you can get a full refund .
Anyway , the stellas are cracked , final destination 3 into the dvd player , so my names Goff and i'm fcukin off ;)
Some people are blinkered and won't try something different . Sometimes the word thick and sh*t spring to mind :clown:
Just noticed your from Wales , says it all really , your names not Glyn is it pmsl :rasp:
You take it back and say it doesn't fit , use your imagination a little bit more . If after a couple of years you want to get rid of it take it back and say it doesn't work and get a full refund :rasp:
For a start its illegal . It doesn't work , it was tested on 5th gear ages ago ,plus they can turn the positive pic of your plate into a negative so it still shows up .
The Renault ones have a letter on , so i would imagine you need the corresponding letter for the locking bolts or as pettsi says your wheels would be easy to nick .
The set i have look slightly different and have the letter m on
He only wants a cheap headunit mate . Read the post , you can get your money back if you want inside the 3 year warranty period . Now tell me another place where you can do this ?
Don't knock it 'til you've seen it or tried it :approve:
Just bought a draper 3 way 12v adaptor from aldi...
I've never used the megs 3 step polishing system myself , but i've heard its not that good .
Theres a guy called David Graham on here who owns www.carwashnwax.co.uk His username on here is R9DCG
He has some really good products ...
Don't laugh . I was in Aldi yesterday and they had an mp3 headunit for £50 . I think it was about 45w , and had a port for either an ipod / external mp3 player or usb , can't remember the full details but its always worth a look . Plus i think you get a 3 year warranty with it so if after say 2...

I've just checked out the video . The multimeter was showing 12.4v , exactly what my 172 used to show which according to the haynes manual is p*ss poor .
According to the haynes manual it says .
Good = 12.7volts
Normal = 12.6volts
Poor 12.5 volts
