The more you speak the more you prove you don't know enough about detailing to make comments like fact.
50/50s are a new thing? They've been on DW since the site was built up.
The simple fact is you thought/think paint correction was/is about getting paint to the same level. That's a basic...
Chip. The art of detailing/polishing/correction isn't to make lacquer equally flat.
Hence my comment about you misunderstanding what "detailing" is about.
On a microscopic level paint is in itself, peaks and troughs.
Paint readings are taken for clearcoat removal not to get each section...
Chip the fact you don't understand the basic concept of polishing kind of negates your argument. You don't know about 2 step correction or 3 step polishing processes or even concentrated correction work.
Paint isn't even. From 2cm to another 2 there could be 3 microns of a difference from...

I can understand the Gap issue. They're not willing to cover an insurance company undervaluing the car which is fair enough...
Heated seats and electric mirrors were probably a far-flung fantasy from Mercedes S-Class' back in the day but they slowly make their way down the models.

The website isn't sorted yet but a bit of background. Our bodyshop and myself have been in contact with a local guy for the past 2 years helping shape and paint certain items for some American buyers etc.
I've used his demo on a racing game and flight simulator...

Nick imo is the best in the business. Helps when you own a bodyshop aswell! ;)
Check out his Tiguain write up also. The way cars should be painted and polished.
Just a big f**k of awesomeness! What a car.
I know they cost a lot to run, an awful lot but under 10k sees you into one and they are just epic!
You actually hate MPG, I bet you can't remember what 20mpg looks like?
