What's the maximum temperate a log manifold is expected to see on an f4r low boost build?
I'm wanting to heat it up above this temp then machine back the faces to remove warping.
Itll probably come out with an angle grinder, definitely wont come out without removing the subframe in one piece. A reciprocating saw might be better imho
Turbo downpipe fitting depends on who made it. Shouldnt need undertray removing.
Renault dont even stock the correct replacement part for the 200 either, the bracket is in the wrong place on the radiator supports.
Need cutting and re-welding, at which point you may aswell get one of the aluminium aftermarket variants someone makes on the fb groups.
If theres any shoddy work by @Lewigi_69 make sure you point it out 👀😂
Car looks great though! Looking forward to updates on this again after following it through owners.
It's that balance of a tyre that is decent in the wet/dry, pretty hard wearing and also can provide decent grip when out for a spirited drive! Ad08r really hit all those points, not had a single issue with them through snow either!
Think i'm stuck between the ad08rs, R1R, 595rs but unsure what...
Agreed.
Make sure both surfaces are prepped and shiny metal then put it on about 6 wire speed and max2.
Try earth it through the bolt itself and maybe get it glowing before welding too
That's what I used before mate, i know to avoid the rock hard pastes like that putty. Just after specific brands people have used really that's decent stuff.
I'm getting some exhaust gas escaping from the sleeved joints on my milltek system. I'm going to buy some new mikalor clamps from milltek and then apply some exhaust paste.
I've used this stuff in the past -...
Go on... I'm thinking i'll just get ad08rs tbh. Unsure whether to get a set all round, or leave the original ad08r's on the back as they're still only like 4mm
