    Expensive Spark Plugs?

They must be quoting labour charges for changing your plugs . The originals are NKG PFR6E-10 . http://www.sparkplugs.co.uk/pages/pricing/applications/ngk_petrol_car_applications.asp Some people use Bosch and seem to be happy with em ...

Put some thick cable ties , 8mm / 9mm , over your clips on the cv boot as a preventative measure .

    CD Changer Cables

The cables are about £85 from Renault , thats if they will sell em separate , 2 dealerships i spoke to wouldn't . The changer and cable package is around £300 , wtf :( If you really want to stick with the Renault setup it would be cheaper to get a tunerlist headunit out of an older 172 to...

Oil type residue on driverside inner Wheel (172)

^^^^ It'll need a realy good clean to get all the grease off the outside of the boot or the new clip will eventually just slide off .

Oil type residue on driverside inner Wheel (172)

Definitely the clip has broken on the cv boot , thats grease you've got all over your wheel . Or might even be the cv boot itself split but i'd say just the clip . Pretty common thing .

Why did you buy your car?

Got my 182 cos i had a mk2 172 with just over 4 years trouble free motoring . Also cheap considering all the toys you get , the look of the car , handling / speed . Best car in its class imo .
  21. MRBILLYUK

    CD Changer Cables

As bmh says . The 05 182 has the cabasse update headunit , the older headunits were tuner lists .You need the corresponding cable and changer for the newer cabasse headunit .

Why didnt the trophy come with xenons?

Imo Xenons light up the road better than standard bulbs . Try driving alongside another car on a dark motorway and compare which car is the lighting the road up better . I'd never have a car without xenons ever again !

Nice one ^^^^ Glad you got it sorted for free , as you should do :) The inconsistency of some Renault dealerships is unbelievable , they don't seem to have a clue what is or isn't covered by the warranty .
