Does anyone have any health tips for the MBP? I currently use Cleanmymac to free up HDD space, works very well. Keeps it running fast. I have also recently downloaded iBoostup from the App store. Great app for free. Does a lot of the same things as Cleanmymac, but also does disk utilisation...

To me personally it looks like a Trophy that's been washed with sandpaper. However that might just be the photo's. I'll await proper finished photo's under daylight.

Just installed the 8gb of RAM in my MBP. Really easy to do - even for me! Took all of 5 mins. I can tell the differences straight away - especially with multiple programs open. Everything is much faster. Great upgrade for £30!

Has anyone had any experience with a Mini DP to HDMI cable from their MBP? Looking to hook it up to the TV! Does it also carry sound?

Looks easy from what I've seen online, so I should be OK when mine arrives. I hope. LOL.

You're a lucky b*stard ;) I didn't do a fresh install either, I just installed from the App Store. Mine seems faster though! Is there an advantage to doing a completely fresh install?
