On xlow subframes for pole positions mate.
Jon suggests trying above the subframe but below the seat. I'll have to see what space I have when it comes to fitting
The bolts are part of the seat runners. Did any snap?
I'd be cleaning them with a wire brush, running a die down them and then coating in copper grease.
The 4 without the caps over them are always rusty.
Anyone have any measurements? I currently run an underseat sub under standard seats and want to know if itll still be possible.
Pics of sub stolen from @Gus
Can always cut carpet away to end up lower but want to avoid it.
Sensors are only different in the cable length, but both fit in either position IIRC.
The post-cat sensor stays on a set voltage and does not fluctuate, only the pre-cat does. Sensors cheapest from OPIEOILS.
When I got the AD08RS I went to a local kwikfit and they were brilliant. Took extra care not to damage my brand new alloys and already knew about the yokohama balancing dots. Didn't mind me checking each wheel after fitting and the lad who did them wanted to talk cars afterwards for a bit...
Pair of dolomites those I think, unless theres a spitfire even deeper? Madness! Theyll be very far gone now, rust quicker than ph1s does British leyland steel
Bikes and cars are completely different. Why is this being discussed here? Most people want to be able to go for a drive without getting pisswet through and freezing cold. Especially at this time of the year.
Depends on how you drive the car, how often and on what roads.
The bearings arent designed for that sort of load so die quickly over bumps. I'd say yearly and check condition every 3 months or so
My clio has always 'popped and banged' for about 2 minutes when first driven from cold. Also feels like its 'holding back' slightly which is a little weird although this is usually fine as i only drive into a 30mph from work/home so its warmed up by the time i'm on any proper roads where it...
In all seriousness i've never had any problems with the standard genuine elf oil, and my car has done 141k miles.
It's more important to make sure it filled up, as these like to use/leak a little oil.
