It wasn't aimed at any age group. It's cheaper to tax, insure and fuel than a Clio and has less horse power. If that's competing then they're really bad at it. They physically restricted the breathing of the car to keep the Bhp down. You'll notice the Focus ST mk1 runs a restricted RS unit...

It's a fact. If it was competing with the Clio it would have had much more BHP from the restricted 2.0 litre engine. Surely you can see that? A Clio 200 can keep up with a MK2 FRS on a twisty road, it means jack s**t imo. A Clio 200 can keep up with a Lambo on a B road, it means nothing.

Nice mate, the colour is pretty special but the attention that it attracts can be unwanted.

Nope, i'm trying to say you'd buy one for different reasons to the Megane/Vxr. You can directly compare the FRS to them if you wish. Look at the new Focus ST, it's aimed at a different market. Ford have stated this on umpteen occasions yet people don't listen.

Nice cars, they have their issues though. 2 new engines at my local one, pistons in bits. Warranty always. Oh and not cheap to buy!

It's a de-nibber. When a panel is re-painted dust particles can sit on the surface, they are then flattened and polished out. I'm not a fan of them but they can be useful. Festool make some of the finest products in their sector.

The fact you can make a stamp for £5 or buy one off evay to me makes receipts way more important! I had about 10's of thousands of pounds worth of receipts for the Frp. Way more important to me.

I've done a 50/50 on a bonnet with old C1 on my Frp (no pics) and believe me, it darkens/deepens the paint.

Yeah he's trying to be smart. 90 odd % of the finish is in the prep but a wax/sealant/ceramic can add to the finish. Even a glaze can darken paint on a perfect surface. Tell him to keep buying poundland wax as it doesn't matter. Or Collinites 476 because it last longer than Zymol Royale...

You'll get better durability with TP underneath but depending on the state of paint Tripple might give a better finish under TC. I like both but TP doesn't add anything to my box if i'm honest.

Yeah definitely. Victoria soap, Gwash I like as it's quite pure for any ceramic sealants. Btbm is a straight forward one.

AG HD is also a shout but since you have FK. I think HD is one of the most underrated waxes/hybrids on the market.
