I wouldn't polish it at all mate, you'll end up chasing it and in doing so removing too much clearcoat, at this stage it's best to leave it until it's looked at. If it's easy enough to remove i'm sure Russ would tell you (hard to tell from the picture of course) The more clearcoat that is left...
Hmm toughy that one mate. Really not the best place to have any damage as you know painting clams run into mega £££'s.
It's definitely "imprinted" itself in the lacquer. I know you're not really wanting to wetsand it and I certainly wouldn't recommend it to you, last thing you want is damaging...
You didn't have to buy them did you?
Dan was too busy talking to someone last year, missed me out! :( Got a good shot of it leaving though! :o Arch gapz!
Re: iPhone 5 this October??
The front looks quite similar, slimmer almost but the back is nice. Very slick looking.
We shall see. I thought September was too close for release now.
AF Imperial or Chemical guys Diablo, EZ Detail brush and a valet pro small Black brush. That's a great combo. Not cheap mind and you might not even care but hey! :o
Our tyre changer would just have laughed! Can't be an easy job fitting rubber band sized tyres back on.
Happens too often though sadly, bit of talent involved.
They have simonizz wheel cleaners and shiz at Tesco and Asda. You're kinda limited, shouldn't be too hard to clean though. Halfrauds should sell AG wheel cleaner, not sure if it's safe or any good though! :o
Either or mate, we prefer just wheels but you can leave the car with us mate and we'll whip them off. Lot quicker just to bring the wheels in. Hope the RR day went well. Gaz's car made nice numbers!
Not at all mate. Glazes can sometimes be fussy but Amigo's make-up lend it to any non nano LSP, was sealant etc. Have a look at the sticky at the top of the page.
Yeah mate, works just fine, better via DA but still works nice.
People in the know mate, nothing stays secret long in the detailing industry. Plenty of good offers there though, i'd like to have met up with the AF and Dodo boys, nice chaps.
Ballache with pressure sensors and other things. Audi advised us not to remove them, it's off a TTRS so has all manner of s**t inside them. Customer didn't want them off either right enough. Don't blame him.
Looking nice Lynden. After detailing one last week you can appreciate that colour so muhc, it's stunning. Sadly i'm not sure it's worth the hassle of the attention it would probably get.
Wheels look way too dark though, either gloss Black or standard for me.
On a show car it would be Amigo and 2 layers of vics for me. Possibly Glasur.
Although the Frp was 95% corrected last year for CSS it had a coat of Amigo and Vics Red the day before CSS and looked at it's best.
Toughy.
The difference in spraying and powder-coating is night and day but then again so it the price.
PC always looks rougher/coarser mettalic so to speak.
A decent sprayed wheel will look epic if done right. One of our recent ones... (Tyres can't be removed)
My Rejuve in nearly finished also mate. I must say it's easily worth buying more. Great product.
P21's is much better filling and cleaning power is superb. Cutting is minimal.
Agreed on Srp about drying out. Wasn't thinking about that there.
