Seems like a good experience with these guys seeing as there previous name/owners got slated on here badly. Did you say the idle was quite lumpy, get some vids up.
From what I have done to mine, some people will think i'm mad/stupid but however I havent done what I have done to my car to be quicker than someone else on track/road. The feeling of driving something pretty mental/crazy still puts a smile on my face everytime I drive my car and if i'm enjoying...
That looks gorgeous Dave! As many people have said, not many good looking/condition ones around anymore which is a shame, would have that for definate though!
Going to keep it until i've completed it as a project, not going to sell it part of the way through. And the no doubt when its done keep t for a couple of extra years to enjoy it!

Excuse my ignorance if i'm not correct, if them figures are...
I must say, having only just read the updates of your thread that your car is really starting to take shape and look pretty epic! Have you bedded the brakes in yet? Trust me once you've bedded them in they are not as noisy and are a lot less snatchy plus they brake even harder in my experience...
Dave go with a set of Hankook RS2's, £100 for a pair which is on the expensive side but as Brown Bear said a good tyre for track that doesn't make things too easy or harsh on the car. Also they last pretty well, done over 2k miles including a hard session of Rockingham already since having them...
