That's what I thought originally mate.
But his power run was done at a place called TDI and apparently they have a machine which bolts to the hub (with the wheels off obviously) to measure WHP.
A friend of mine has just had a great result with his EP3 Type R.
A couple of mods and he's reached 193BHP at the wheels. He's over the moon obviously. Really nice car he has too!
We were talking about how much power is lost through transmission before it reaches the wheels.
Anyone have...
Someone crashed into me recently. Smashed up the back end, pushed the floor inwards about 3 inches and rolled it all up. Mine wasn't a write off. Well they tried to call it on at first but I didn't allow it.
Mines a 182 though so maybe the value of the car will be the deciding factor here...
EDIT: Reading fail!
I would be getting it all done if it were you mate. And I would be getting it done sooner rather than later to be honest.
There must be a specialist near you. Take it to them.
I love my Milltek. I have the sports cat too and it sounds fantastic. It's not loud at all when you don't want it to be but rumbles when giving it some.
Oh and lifetime warranty from Milltek if you let one of their suppliers fit it. Fitting is normally free when RRP is paid.
