    Decat vs Sports Cat

I agree. I've never heard of a sports cat being illegal. I always assumed if it could past an emissions test then it was fine. But speaking to a Milltek distributor and he said it's technically not legal. No TUV or something? But also that it was very very unlikely that anyone would...

    Decat vs Sports Cat

Both are technically illegal apparently. Anyone object to that statement? If they were the same price which would you go for and why? I know my mate went for a decat simply because he was skint and didn't have the money to buy a cat! Was planning on getting a Milltek sports cat. But the...

Really ok cheers I'll consider them too. For OZ F1s the correct fitment is 195/50 R15 isn't it.

Need some track tyres. Where to get R888s

I'm after a set of these. Wondered where's best to buy them. I've come across a few posts for group buys on these and discounts offered from some members. Is there anything along these lines actually happening? Remember some members mentioning they can get very cheap prices from their suppliers.

    HELP with potential brake problems..

Thanks. I'll check the discs for pad deposits. But if there is I would have thought it would be easy ish to pick up. He was aware the pads needed filing down for proper fitments so he did so. Before buying anything new I'm going to pass all this info onto him and get him to check it all...

    HELP with potential brake problems..

Will do George thanks mate. I'm kinda hoping it is the discs that have warped, purely because it will be the cheapest way to a solution. Rather than having to get a new caliper if that is the case.

    HELP with potential brake problems..

Thanks Chip, appreciate your comments. I never touch my brakes personally so I'll hand it over to my mechanic. I will however check all four pads are evenly worn. Had a brief look at the outside ones on the day and they were but will now properly check all four. Will also get him to check...

    HELP with potential brake problems..

Cheers mate :) So I'm assuming when they get hotter on track after a couple of laps they are so out of shape that something is rubbing the caliper? If not what else would cause the juddering etc.. I also take it that warped disc will cause uneven pad wear? I'll probably just buy another set...

Swapping HDs on two iPhone 4's

This. Plug your phone in, back it up. Wipe it. Plug the new phone in and restore from back up. Done. No fiddling around for no reason. Did exactly this the other day.

    Brake pads

I often get fade, and I think I might have warped discs now lol, but I'm not sure how I tell. The only thing you have different to me is Yozza brake ducts. I've have taken out the fog lights and all the arch lining though, so there is plenty of direct airflow to around the brake area. Really...

    Brake pads

Because they were expensive and I want to get use out of them lol. Keep saying maybe it's just me, I'll see how they get on the next time. Plus I'm lazy!! Think I'll give the Mintex a go next time. Heard good stuff about them. Will have a quick look at the price now.
