    Cat Sleeving to Milltek

I'm after having my cat sleeved for the MOT, but i'm unsure on what size pipe to go for. I am currently running a milltek decat to a 2.5" system. This is all sleeved at the minute. Do I literally just need a 2.5" bit of pipe? Cheers!

    Tom’s 55 ‘RB 182’

Hahaha. Which part of the exhaust was this on? This looks like a genuine milltek clamp so don't know what the mechanic is on about? The replacement you want is this one if it's a 2.5" system https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/401270456967

    172 speaker wire - & +

Yeah that's right. It just means it reads upto 20v so it keeps the decimal in the right place. As if you were measuring 0.1v with it set to 600v it would read as 0, even though there would be a voltage.

    172 speaker wire - & +

Put it on volts (20), then turn on the radio. Put a multimeter probe on each wire. If it reads a positive number you have the polarity correct, if it's negative it's the other way round. Wire up to the speaker accordingly.

Sorted It! I had a loose negative terminal. The part where the nut is and that cable is connected. Tightened it up and then it turned over but wouldn't fire. Immobilizer was solid so I turned ignition on and left it for a minute or so then it fired into life. Happy days

They're slightly larger but often take more prep to sit well iirc. Not sure how well this one will sit but time will tell

But either battery is knackered or it's just a loose earth somewhere. Weird if battery as it's been driven loads lately. Only died overnight and I had left nothing on.

Nope. Bought the light on ebay for £8. It's just a standard brake light from a 1.2/172 standard spoiler. Part number: 7700844706 Obviously used, but good enough tbh. Either that or get yourself to a scrap yard.

My Trophy spoiler arrived today  Rather than going for the Italian replica I took a punt on one of the fibreglass ones that have currently become available on ebay. This has been moulded from a genuine trophy spoiler and you can even see the 'renault' writing on the underside. I will need...

Still can't figure out whether I like these or not. I agree they're nicer than the blanks with the bump. Any more pics at different angles?
