    Honestly, the OEM components will be all you need for HU-only power. The door speakers do get full-range signal, but going from the OEM components to just door-speakers is a downgrade if anything (again, only opinion). They may be tasty replacement speakers, but really they'll need an amp...

    13s will fit, but IMO the OEM speakers work just fine unless you're going to use a proper amp with them. (my 172 ones worked well once I'd switched off the low-frequencies off of them) An alternative would just be to slap a small under-seat sub in instead.
