    Engine Management Light!

I did say it doesn't always point you in the right direction. Are there better apps, or just bin off the bluetooth diagnostic completely? It detected the lambda problems fine on my 1.2, aswell as the injector problem. Detected the failing lambda on my 182 too, granted it could also have other...

Is that his actual gear leaver? Didn't notice that haha.

Rusty standard backboxes are very common too. Renault just gave you the built in obsolescence to let you upgrade. It's not amazing, but for simple diagnostics/ tracking of the lambda i wouldn't say it was shite? Nothing beats a proper diagnostic device, but torque gives you a general idea.

    Engine Management Light!

Sounds good mate, you can get the torque app (free) in the play store, but paying for the premium one is worth it. You can also get a free version of the premium app just by googling for the APK though but supporting the developers etc etc. Don't touch the disk that comes with that bluetooth...

    Engine Management Light!

I'm not sure how reliable the one on the car is, i definitely wouldn't ever use it for diagnostics... It holds Holds faults, and dying batteries can cause it to display wrong codes etc. Think you flick through a few different menus by pressing the end of the stalk, then clear with the trip...

    Engine Management Light!

The bluetooth one is very simple to use, and you can also live track your lambda so would be able to see if it's knackered. Bet the mrs has smashed your lambda off on a pothole ;) Cambelt done at a specialist? Are you running a decat out of interest? As my EML is on, but it's on because of the...

Tempted to go s2000 but genuine are expensive! Not paying £40 for an aerial.

    Crap signal with short aerial

I recently fitted this short aerial to my clio - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-OE-Peugeot-Citroen-Roof-Short-Aerial-Mast-6561N3-C4-II-C8-308-II-607-/160970831657?hash=item257a9bf729 But my radio is just always crackling now. Have other people experienced this with the same aerial? What are...

    Engine Management Light!

You hold down the end of the stalk, and then turn on the ignition. You can get to a screen with '- - - -' and one letter 't' e.g. '-t--' means an injector fault has been detected in the past. Could be anything though, don't think they're reliable.

    Engine Management Light!

It's hard to really be sure over the forum. The "t" could have been an old fault and doesn't really tell you anything. It could be anything from a failing lambda to a fubared cat. How mechanically minded are you? If you're willing to give repairing it a go yourself (as it'll probably be...

Ford (not really) RatRod, Cummins 6bt

That's ace. Is it on bags? I also agree with that prop jees! Do they drive it around like that without putting something over it? I get the appeal for the overall look, but that's dangerous.

What have you done to your car today ???

Fitted some aeroblade wipers and went for a drive. Shame the roads to Hebden bridge are always gridlocked.

What would you do?? Nurburgring cambelt snap

I quite enjoy watching these, as if anything it makes me more aware whilst on the roads myself as to what utter dumbfuckery people will actually do.

I basically need one for my windscreen as the wipers are shite. I've put some wax on for now, but will definitely look into some of that.

Cooksport springs lower it nicely, or go for coilovers. Bilsteins come highly recommended from those who have used them.

De-wipered. Fairly common, I just did it myself.

It was literally an extra plug that goes into the brake light, and then goes into the loom on the car. To be honest if you buy a cup spoiler it's most likely to already have this. Mine came with the connector, which then led to it being a straight fit to my 182.

    New 182 owner.....love it :)

It's seriously easy. Go inside the car and there's 2 screws on the left, 2 screws on the right. (Torx). Remove these, and then there's two screws in the middle. The spoiler then lifts up, you can unplug the connector, and then pull out the washer tube. You may need to then extend the wiring...
