Pretty sure not. The boot solonoid sounds like it's knakered. New part, cheap enough and job done. Depending on where you park try and reverse close to another car or wall etc so no access to the boot.

Getting the car mapped properly as apposed a generic map added will be more beneficial. If the car is standard ish (no decat) then the Ron map is okay. But the likes of efi (who have an ace reputation) will know exactly how the car is behaving. No two cars are exactly the same. It's a trek for...
