I'm fitting my 4th set of brake pads to the Trophy tonight, done 14k miles. 7 Track days / evenings + 3 airfield days and a ring trip in there though.

Top Tip: If you go into the diagnostic check mode (hold trip computer stalk button in when turning on ignition) and then press the stalk button again it tells you on the display how many litres are left in the tank.

Agreed, the interior of the car is a big improvement, feels far better built than the mk2. Seats are excellent, would find it hard to justify money for a recaro option with them. Still not totally attracted to the exterior, but its growing on me slowly. It does make the mk2 look dated though...
Bird crap is evil stuff. I sometimes can't avoid it where i park at work and my cars paint is constanly getting minor etching from it even though i remove it as soon as i get home. It's actually the reason i bought a PC, to sort out some bird crap damage.
