yep, air is more dense as temperature decreases, and more density means more oxygen molecules for a given volume of air. Oxygen is needed to burn the fuel, so more oxygen means more fuel burnt thus more energy released.

Have just downloaded and tried out the ring. Excellent fun, not too far off the real thing accuracy wise I didn't think. Some of the kerbs are too high though, bit of a nightmare in the Saleen! Going to try it in a GT3 RS now i think, i'll post a lap time later.
True, but Windows Media Center can control the Sky box and switch the channels using an IR transmitter supplied with the remote, so it still works fine with the media center program guide.
Right, 1.27.610 is as good as i've got this evening at Donington in the Saleen (super soft, low fuel etc)
As you can see i was slightly up on the next lap, but ended up in starkeys bridge :clown:
Think I could probably do a lucky banzai lap in the 1.26's but not consistently. Respect to...
Yeah, i've done the first 5 or 6 groups of challenges all with gold so far. Quite good actually, adds something new to the game.
edde - yeah, it has both the national and international circuit on it, so you can practice the track day lines :D. Pretty accurate to driving it for real too...
I was once told by a certain Williams enthusiast that the Williams has a baffled sump, which means the risks of oil starvation from the increased g-forces created running slicks should be reduced :)
Rob talks a lot of sense though, people do sometimes worry too much about going faster on...
