Cheers :). The camera is mounted in the front grill, on the drivers side. Its shielded from the heat of the radiator at that point and theres a useful hole to feed the wires back into the car.
Believe me we really did! The Trophy was a bit more tricky, but with some excellent guidance from the others I managed to steer it through without grounding it out
Managed to record a lap of the ring on my bullet cam at the weekend. The camera was only on the car for the one lap then it rained, so i'm glad it came out ok.
BTG time is about 9m30 i think. I got held up a couple of times, once really badly on the fast uphill section, so I'd have been able...
Well after 1430 miles in 5 days, burning 52 gallons of fuel! 15 laps of the ring, countless Bitburgers, and more than a lifetimes supply of Currywurst mit Pommes..... I'm finally home.
Big thanks to everyone else on the trip, it was superb, and especially Jon for the organising of it.

Weather hasnt really been a problem to be honest, it's just so changable up at the ring. Its been cold and snow showers today mixed with bouts of warm sunshine! Very odd. Didn't really affect laps though, the track was open all day and the surface was pretty much dry throughout, bar the first...
Well i'm never selling it unless i'm forced to at gunpoint, so that wont be an issue ;)
But yeah, they are supposed to do that, the PF '97 Carbon Metallic brake pads generate a lot of heat, and thats just the bits of hot metal from the pad and disc flying off. Looks pretty spectacular but not...

A few of us met up today and after a bit of car cleaning, cold air feed fitting, break fluid changing, and talk of custard chairs we decided to go and take some pics down by the water at Hamble.
I took far too many, they are all here, but here's a selection...
£130 for 4 tyres is cheap as chips if you ask me. The F1's in that size have always been around £30-£35 as long as i remember.
You wont even get 2 tyres for that price in 16" :(
Yep, that was me :D
I parked on the end of a row for a change, normally park about 3 miles from the shop :clown:.
Did you see the accident by the entry to the petrol station?
If you want to stop, it has to be PF97. Never had a problem with the dust sticking to the bodywork, although i do clean / wax the car fairly regularly. Half way through my 3rd set of them now, they keep me coming back.
My two front wheels are now f*cked but thats only from when they get...
Hi Nick, I'm in Valley Park, just down the road from ASDA. Day lives in that area too. Fletch is the other side of CF out towards Hursley.
I've seen a few Maxims while driving around the area before.
Welcome to Cliosport :D
You'll find the engine will loosen up quite a bit over the next 8000 miles or so, they just get quicker!
