Yeah, I couldn't agree more and i wasn't specifically commenting on what you said. I just think it would have been more constructive of someone to say this in the first place. The guy asks what it was thats so wrong with the car, but gets the whole childish 'we're not telling' attitude back...

The cup racers have the advantage of using the headlight moulding for a proper air intake, and as Steve said can be located further away from the engine because of the battery relocation etc.. Having said that, this one looks to be using the standard phase 1 172 airbox anyway. Probably...

I've always used Castrol Response Super Dot 4. Seems good enough to me, although i havent really bothered to try anything else.

I think most of the swirls are either gone or at least much less noticable, although the roof did still have some i think. I'm sure under Brazo's trusty 500w halogen lamp you'd see some swirls, but in general was a much better finish. The paint looks a lot cleaner and deeper in colour.

I had promised to give Saner's 'Green Sheep' the PC polisher treatment, so as today was forecast to be dry, we gave it a go. About five and a half hours later, this was the result: Pretty pleased with the finish, came up better than I expected. It better be clean next...

Dont see why you shouldn't be able to solder a new one on really, just might require some careful soldering.

Why do you hate the PE2's Fred? Did you have problems with them or just didn't like the way the car handles on them?
