The one that leads onto the straight before the final corner? I found that difficult to begin with. Managed it in the end by braking early then full throttle through. It does seem to brow a little hill at the end of the corner though which tends to lead to oversteer. So letting off slightly...
I thought the Clio championship was on the easy side at 80% A.I (90% is pretty tough). Kind wish you could increase the difficulty in 5% increments.
My problem is the inability to be smooth as I said above. Impossible with the controller I find.
When you look at the videos on YT, it looks like a totally different game with a wheel setup over the controller. Smoothness which impossible to achieve (and badly needed with all the cars) with the controller is easily achievable with a wheel.
Price of a good wheel + stand is nearly 300 bucks...
How does one change the AI difficulty. Had the option come up once but after doing the first round of the Clio Cup it's too easy so wanna ramp it up a bit.
Not tried them myself but seen this suggestion on the Av forums:
Controller settings:
Steering sensitivity - 50 is linear. Lower gives you a more gentle curve. So try 35 if you find the car moving around too much in a straight line.
Speed sensitivity - at higher settings it'll stop you moving...
Lol. Don't think I'll get them to glow going the right way around. The big stop into the hairpin (Down hill) in reverse is the only "big stop". Not only that, I don't think I'd push that hard again knowing how easily the discs heat up and warp.
At 3 corners in particular yes. Clarkes (The right after the chicane) being the worst.
Wasn't driving anywhere near the limit so was easily manageable.
So I had the little FiST up at Knockhill on Saturday. Was hoping it would be dry so I could put the new suspension/tyres to the test (In the hope for better lap times) however the big man upstairs didn't help out. It was wild. Lashing rain and howling gales. The first trackway I've not really...
