I think this close to Christmas you're never gonna pick one up in store now. Order online as Apples delivery times are very accurate so you should get it delivered in 2 weeks if you order now.
I assume that the monthly payments are a tenth of the items price every month? So the item is £500 so you pay £50 a month? Or can you fix it so that you pay less over the monthly period and a larger final payment?
I just prefer the mini tbh. I did go into the Apple shop on mini & 4 launch weekend to buy the 4 but after seeing the mini I was sold.
The only time I use our "big iPad" now is when I'm charging the mini (Which isnt very often as the battery lasts forever).
Depends where you were using it. I find that if I sit with it on the couch or my knee in a certain way the fans kick in. This is down to blocking the airflow.
Try it sitting on a desk to see if that makes a difference.
I don't see the fascination tbh. To me the current gen is a better deal. It's now lost its status as an "all in one" with the loss of the drive.
Also, when you are looking at it as you'd use it, it ain't gonna look any different to the current gen.
The wife and I went into Apple to complain about our batteries on our 4 not lasting a day. The guy showed us the running apps thing and it improved the battery life so much.
Every app we had ever opened was still running raping the battery.
Both MS and Sony will be eager to get there new consoles out first. Xbox 360 had an unassailable lead over PS3 when it came out and has never caught up. Spose it being a backwards step to the 360 didn't help.
Theres a lot of reviews of swapping laptops for an iPad for a day of work to see if an iPad can sub in for a proper computer.
Obviously you have to buy apps to help but pairing the iPad with an Apple Bluetooth keyboard will mean it can be used as a "desktop" almost.
