Stripping down the clio for respray and all I have left to get off is the exterior door handles. I’ve removed the two nuts from the inside but I can’t work out how it is held onto the threaded bar which operates the lock. Any heads up on this before I break something? I’ve also got to...

How do you get the external god damn door handles off? Have removed the two bolts but can’t see how it comes off the metal stalk.

I’ve ALWAYS wanted an RB so I think I’m scratching an itch. As it’s a favour from a friend I can’t go to mad on choosing a colour that is a b*****d to spray otherwise I’d feel like a c**t. I’m still open to suggestions and if you have an image to go with, my mind can still be changed.

I have one but don’t like to leave anything on charge all the time as my garage is at work so paranoid about fire.

Got the bootlid off this evening. Managed to fiddle the loom through without to much hassle so no cutting was required. Almost ready for spray 😎

Does this pull through the top of the bootlid or am I making hard work of it? I can pull on it but then the connectors get jammed up inside the cavity down the side of the bootlid. Must be an easy way?

I was looking for a connector block which would have made perfect sense either side of the grommet but unless I’m blind, there is nothing. Presuming I just need to yank it all out toward the top of the bootlid and then just re-thread it into the new one.

These were in my hand at one point.
