I did take the dog down the vets today and I had a passenger,
on the way back I had a few good blasts on Coventry's many duel carriageways,
plus a naughty traffic light GP with an Audi. :quiet: (60 road)
Still feels as fast as it's ever been, I guess i'll find out after my first burnout.

The belts were 5 years old when they were changed, Fred said the timing was well out,
maybe it's in mind because the engine now feels tight, whereas before they were changed it felt raw.
I'll be lucky to do a 15.00 again, car's not been the same since the belts were changed,
I think the timing was out by an amount that made it quicker,
now it's timed properly it just doesn't feel as quick.
I beat Stokie in a straight up race that day, but my best time was 15.00,
his was something impossible like 14.4, I reckon he had a tail wind that run. lol
I don't normally start threads about individual cars, but I though this one deserved it.
I think i've found a new baller spec dog kennel! (if I ever win the lottery)
The noise!
Ph2 Clio knobs have to be hacked off as they're glued on,
easier to just replace the insert.

Well Daniel said :
£105 track day
£40 Travel lodge Friday night
£30 dinner & booze
One and a half tanks of super will be the best part of £100 quid.
So £250 is a realistic amount for the entire thing.
Well I might be finding out if I can get £250 quid together for Llandow,
i'll know by the end of the week if I can afford it.
Pretty confident I can make it, just don't want to commit before I have the money.
Although I don't class drag days as a track day,
just a cheap day out with the lads...
Such a good idea to convert one to a work van,
if you're going to be driving about in it all day, might as well be something enjoyable.
Plus converting a van into an 172 would way more expensive.
