then you did it the wrong way lol, wind it in the other direction = more boost, but make sure you get the mapping done at the same time otherwise engine number 2 will be on its way too
eh? you can go 2 ways, you wind the rod tighter so that you get more boost, or you push it further away so you get less, other thing is if youve got a w4nk actuator the spring might be soft. you cant wind it tighter and make the wastegate open up sooner just not possible
so wouldnt that mean with a bigger port and valve you could get the same amount of air in at a lower boost pressure than if you were using smaller ones?

the inlet ports on a 197 are huge compared to the 172 and 182, would be good to see if you would gain anything from bolting a 197 head on a earlyer bottom end, if it was possible that is??
dnt swap the subframes, you need to drill one hole in the clio one to accept the gtt front gearbox mount, remove the suspended clio rear mount and replace with a gtt item, threaded holes already in the subframe for that, done 3 now and the whole lot engine out gtt engine in and wiring adapted...
