ive done 4 tracks and the ring + 8k road driving and i now need to replace my front disks, on the inside the groves are nearly non exsistent, on the second set of pads too. but worth every penny for the stopping power they give
ill pop up if you like, not to far away and always good for a bit of a natter, spend to much time there as it is tho, been twice this week trying to sort my car out back in tomorow for new tyres and to hopfully get everything how i want it
i let off and i the nose comes back in line but it does that without sliding the back end, another way to cure understeer is to turn less, when u start to understeer dont turn the wheel more in the direction you want to turn, back it off a little and you should gain back your grip
why do you want it to slide out? ive got the stiffer setup, and if poked with a very big stick the back will step out on track, but i prefer it not too lol
old school man, get a gt series turbo if your going to use garrett, you can run bigger than a t2 with faster spool up. plus the t2 runs outa puff above 6k on a gt id expect a 1.2 16v to be breathing better than that a pushrod 8v 1.4
powersliding and drifting are 2 different things, i should go on a little, powersliding is a technique within drifting also referd to as power oversteer, but not all cars can do that as they dont have the power, (ae86) other ways in which to initiate a drift can be used, the feint is a common...
drifting can be done in any car in which all 4 wheels are slidihng in a direction opposed to there rotational travel, if you watch drifters (rwd) they slide but at the point of all 4 wheels sliding are they then actually drifting
thats not drifting thats proper w**k driving ona roundabout, even the mr2 wasnt hanging out, this is it done to a decent standard

more gonads than ive got
197 box has different bell housing, will not bolt to a 172 engine without some major modification, then on top of that its a fair bit bigger than the 172 box so withough modification to the engine bay it wnt fit to easily
t25 off a rover, that built in dump valve will want blanking off as the leak at about 12psi, forge motorsport do a blanking plate that will sort that out for you
i bet all the saxo owners recon they have 170bhp from an exhaust and filter lol. your car will be alot quicker with better brakes and decent sus than with bolt on mods
all 3 done on mine, after dooing the bottom the gearbox one let go did that then the upper one went, could of been there age with the way i drive it lol, increased vibration at idle and thats about it, not sure if you would notice in a ff car tho. defo a great improvement in keepin the engine...
