More or less mate, an invoice got paid yesterday so managed to tax it and stick in some petrol, although the battery's f*cked, it won't hold a charge anymore so it has to be charged every day. I don't have the money to buy a new one, so it's not exactly reliable atm.

Cheers mate but i'm in Coventry, a mate of mine has a garage in the next town, so i'll go and see him tomorrow and have the battery drop tested. I was just wondering if anything on the car could drain the battery in 8 days? The only thing I can think of is the boot light or something, but...

Well the thing's sat on the drive for the past 8 days because of no tax, the battery was fully charged when it went in, it started first time so I went down the petrol station, when I got back into the car the battery was flat. It eventually started after a couple of attempts, so it's safe to...

I just want to make sure it's f*cked before changing it, if something on the car's draining it I don't want to stick a new one in and have the same thing happen.

Raz if I ever get paid enough to tax my car I need to come over to Andy's to get the battery drop tested, it went flat last week and had to be recharged, I want to test it before buying a new one.
