I can't even find the starter motor tbh, someone told me to remove the battery and airbox to gain access, but it's not under there, as far as I know it's under the exhaust manifold.

That is exactly what i'm after, my favourite shape with some decent mods, I want it now!!! Sadly it'll be March by the time i've got the money, i've a few photo jobs lined that should get me back on track with saving.

No one will accept magic beans, so until i've saved up all the money i'll have to stick with my broken Clio. If the f*cking thing hadn't broken down so much last year i'd have one by now. :dapprove:

How reliable are the classic wagons? I don't want to swap one unreliable car or another. This is my favourite shaped wagon, but good ones are the same price as old STi Wagons. I just want one that's comfortable, reliable, and is capable of doing a journey of a few hundred miles with ease...

Haven't tried bump starting it, once the car's warmed up it'll start every time. The battery's only a year and a bit old, plus all the electrics work fine, i'm almost convinced it's the starter, I just thought i'd post a vid for confirmation.

For quite a few months it's had starting issues, it normally starts after a few go's, but over the past few days it's just not having it, I think the starter motors knackered and has finally given up...

A boiled sweet under the rear seats and a massive long screwdriver in the engine bay, it was jammed up next to the battery, looked like part of the car until jiggled it and it came out.

I've got one of the original boxes and i've had my map on there for years. So are the new maps that much better than the old ones, or was your mates car standard before?

Forgot about the unlock codes, I got mine new years ago. If you've bought it from Henk then it shouldn't be a problem to get the files you need, including the firmware.

They'll be a black market in shared RST & Cal files on here in no time if he's jacked it in. Probably just getting maintenance or repairs over xmas.
