Cool, not only do they have the whiteline arb for a good price, but they also sell decats to fit piper exhausts,
which means I don't have to get one specially made for mine. :D
There you go mate, i've just done my arb so I went through all this the other week.

I'm so glad you've got the proper seats, although the ones you've got now are half decent lookalikes,
they were always a compromise, alot of the shows scenes were in the car so the seats were very prominent,
so getting the proper ones is a good move imo.
Sorry to hear about your job, but...
Sounds like the dog bone mount to me mate,
mine was doing it last week despite having powerflex mounts, the nut had come loose.
It's worth getting powerflex dogbone mounts and just upgrading,
just make sure you use thread lock on the nut. :o
If you get a clunking noise check the dog bone mount, then check the engine and gearbox mounts,
also worth giving the actual gearbox mount bracket a good once over,
my old one was badly cracked causing it to knock and bang.
Although tbh fair i've replaced all the mounts for uprated ones,
as...
I haven't felt any more vibration after fitting uprated engine mounts,
I honestly don't know what people are on about. :S
Oh and they're just a straight swap pretty much.
I remember this from Performance French Car Mag a couple of years ago,
iirc it's turbo charged or supercharged or something mental.
Despite it's god awful styling it's meant to be over 300bhp according to the magazine write up.
Threw it into some corners to see what difference new tyres, tie rods, track rod ends, ball joints and powerflex arb bushes make.
Turns out the car is now far better at taking corners than I am,
time to learn how to drive it properly all over again.
Lol f*cking hell, we're all f*cked if he brings the TVR.
Non members can come along, there's one on the list already. (Ben the blob eye scooby man)
The thing is he was quoting me that price on the gearbox you swapped for me,
the one where the fluid was a weird colour and was full of pieces of cogs,
I even explained to him what had happened to it aswel. :S
Maybe he was quoting me a price based on a working box or something.
Yesterday he was saying it wasn't worth painting as for the cost of buying and painting it
he can get one in the colour he wants for the same money ffs.
I spoke to him on the phone when my box exploded at 70mph
and he thinks the most anyone should realistically spend on a JC5 130 rebuild would be £350,
that of course assuming it's not absolutely f*cked and only useful as a doorstop.
Well as Fred said, the steering racks don't really go wrong on these and he was right,
DCIRaz and his mate Andy got it up on a lift, took the subframe off, unbolted the steering rack,
then realised there was sod all wrong with it.
However the tie rods and track rod ends that are less than a few...
Well seeing as I piss all over 90 year olds in their Honda Jazz's,
I should be king of the universe on the strip.
Oh and LewDew sent me a pm and apparently we all need to bring the paper counterpart to our licence's,
Christ knows why, but rules are rules.
I told you the dog kennel will devastate all.......except Freds vee........and Toms turbo cup,
but other than that you're all screwed........as long as I can fix the exhaust leak we discovered today.
But yeah, you're all dead........maybe. :S
Well yesterday it had new tie rods, track rod ends, ball joints, powerflex arb bushes, 2 new front tyres,
and today the gear linkage was adjusted so every gear now slots in perfect.
Also has a new bracket made up for the broken ecu, it's now bolted to where it should be,
I also cleaned the...
