    Monaco 172 Track Car

Gave it a quick rinse to remove some of the dust and pulled it out The turinis look mint now it's back in the deck. Deffo need to get some better tyres, these are budgets (at best) and whilst they have lots of tread they're s**t🤣 Even at 30mph turning felt like the wheel was doing one thing...

    Monaco 172 Track Car

Bought a new Borg & Beck driveshaft. Used this brand of stuff before and tbh it seems decent enough quality. I gave it a good rag about and the inner boot stayed on so it's already beating the fuckin shaftec cunting thing and it was less than half the price! Needed the block chopped a bit...

Aye they can never be perfect I find mine skips around on the back end a bit because there's no weight in it apart from the cage. Can't imagine what it would be like on coilovers 😂

    Rear pad / discs

SNR/Genuine Renault are the best rear discs Even on a 172 cup your brakes shouldn't go rusty because of the compensation/bias. I'd be checking your sliders aren't siezed, they should at the very least keep the discs clean with regular use

    RSTuner long term safety

If you flash the pops and bangs map onto a standard car A) The exhaust valves will exit via the rocker cover B) You'll be a massive battyboy You'll have no issues with the 98RON map, loads of people on here have been running it for years and years

    Monaco 172 Track Car

Drivers side shaft sent back under warranty, hopefully they honour it (again) and they send me a new one. Less than 5k miles and 11 months of use. I've never had an issue with any of the genuine Renault shafts, this is the 2nd shaftec one that the boot has just come out of the cup🙄 Started...

    Monaco 172 Track Car

So whilst the box was away I decided to give a lot of things a good clean down. Jetwashed the subframe, support plates and my undertray. They were all coated and caked in a nice thick layer of s**t and gearbox oil despite only doing a few thousand miles Give under the arches a spray down to...

    197 won’t start

If it's saying steering not locked then it will be something immobiliser related. If the person working on it hasn't even bothered to check that then he needs to put down his tools and work at McDonalds ffs. I mean what sort of mechanic can't bench-test or run direct 12v to a starter 🤦‍♂️ It...

    197 won’t start

I know it sounds daft but have you tried to turn the wheel when starting? I've had it before on my megane and it wouldn't start saying "steering not locked" but all I did was give the wheel a flick and it let the ignition come on

Best place to find quality new or refurbed calipers?

DS1.11 from cold they squeal like crazy and the initial bite isn't that great The dust from them is pretty bad too. Try PBS ProRace, I found mine were decent enough from cold but took serious abuse even when on a hot trakcday

Where to buy track rods for Clio 197?

Aye I don't get why there's 2 part numbers @Kev@KAM might be able to 100% confirm but I'm confident they're the exact same. I mean my Megane has worked fine for the past 20k miles with 197 inners and outers on🤣 (they're the same)

Where to buy track rods for Clio 197?

197/200 inner track rods are the same as 225/R26/175 dCi For some reason Autodoc doesn't seem to think so. There's a few part numbers to choose from but 7701475837 is the part number I used for my Megane
