Juts get the wires soldered up its not difficult. If the looms been realy cut short then you can still strip the dash top off and trace the wires back further and add in extra wiring.
You've got an ABS light as you've gone and knocked the wheel sensor out of allignment Cups don't have it hence Gt_gaz had no trouble. This is the same why ESP is on.
Serv light is on since the ABS and ESP systems have resistered a problem with the stearing sensor and it needs to be fixed...
Rear ones don't need spring compressers you can chnage them with removing a wheel of jacking the car only 2 bolts hold them on.
Its covered under warently though so no need to pay yourself.
Depends on model WIlliams is £85 but if you ask nicly and work at it £60 for trade.
Lower spec model are less say £50 list price but GSF etc do simialr replacments but personally I'd stick with Renault.
R sport in WIlbolden.
No idea of the number though.
other compnay ie K-tec or Bb do a similar type of remap for a bit less I think I think ktec do a replacment ECU as well.
If you've an extended warently yep.
If you've got low milage its worth a try on the grounds of fit for purpose.
Try ringing Renault Uk yourself see what they say just be polite to them.
TO get a proper 182 one to fit you need to have the spare wheel well panle cut out and a flat one welded in (lfat ones £600+ list price Oms posted it a few days ago). You can get custom ones to look the same which route round the wheel whell though.
I don't like them in 15 inch spec usless tyre only good thing is there a bit stiffer side walled than the conti and hard wearing. They didn't seem as bad in 16 inch on a 182 though.
You'll notice the rpm shoots up and the car doens't accelerate at the same speed. Tahts assuming its worn out you could have other things wrong mine woulnd't come out of gear for a bit as the springs had broken.
Yep might as well bleed the fluid particulay if the cars not been done for a year or so.
Stock Renault stuff isn't bad takes me a track day or two to kill it.
More important will be to keep an eye on fade as stock 182 wheels do induce fade more since they don't let the brakes cool.
Would this be a manifold which would work for road engine at low rpm more or more for higher rpm work ? What about the use of cams etc or is this a one solution fits most application quite well but not optimised?
Nope the normal one cover 99% of stuff though i have a pdf file covering the 172 specific stuff and another covering Cup versions if you want a copy Pm em your email address or post it here.
