Bad material batches usually. A wghich back (the cars themselves are about 3~4 years old now) a manurfacturer of spring for Mercedes/Renault etc had a problem with foreign objects getting into the molten metal and after a while a load of them snapped due to this impurtity in the coil material.
Yep thats mine.
Nope I just do a fair few mile and live out in the country.
Only problems having a car that dirty is that when ou clean it you see the scratches i though an inch of mud would protect it also I cannot get the wheels caln now seems the brake pads have got stuck into the wheels.
You can remove the subframe whats it stuck on?

Wiring loom is warently (assuming your car is under warently otherwise you'll have to see if you can get a % payment from Reault goodwill).
Spark plugs since your cars not a 172 are only check £15 or so from halfords etc the 172/182 ones are expensive ones.

Better handling although with gae they can need new dampers etc.
Engine wise its got more low end power and a bit more top end its better though as no need to rev it to death.
If it fails it likes to take the cambelt with it which is expensive.
Sounds more like a vibration issue to me somehting resonating I'd check all the bolts are tight and check for the idles on the AUX belt see if they look wrong.
Mine is a 2002 reg 52 plate one this was 6 month ago ad it was done.

Only cheap I forgte how much but Halfords one fit I belive and there only £10 or so. Only thing is you'd loose the zeon wash unless you make the pipes up.
Different compound on the ones I've checked as well but much the same Halfords own are going to be longer life ones but not as good for faster road driving where you'll get a lot of heat into them. Oms had a set on his 182 and they were fine round town etc but on the back roads they faded very...
Depends where you go cltch places usually want about £250 labour and £50 for a clutch but thats cash in hand as the F engines take ages to do. A proper job with VAt you'd be looking at £380 I'd think.
If you ask about though you can find places usually Renault ex or current employees who've...
