Engine swap is easy enough on these. Stick a new clutch in whilst engine is out, fresh belts/dephaser, New service items and good to go for plenty of miles

Do you have the bumpstops fitted ? I think its fairly common to be on them under hard cornering on cup shocks & lowered springs.

What APC is everybody using now? Looks like tesco have stopped selling the daisy apc.

They should go in quite easy with the correct runners as seen Recaro cs fitted to 172/182 before.

Clip drivers are all 32bit. I couldnt get away with a vm running xp as the usb would not connect properly for some reason so bought a chepa old xp laptop to make life easier. Later versions of clip can run on windows 7 32bit (v170 & up from memory ?) so might be another option

Ast's look great i need a set of fronts for my Kangoo when money allows. I would keep an eye on the camber adjustable bushes the megane ones they done were terrible and kept moving. I would be tempted to add negative camber on the strut bolts instead.

If you scan it with clip a fault code will be stored. I personally would just drive it until the light is on all the time then diagnose and fix as it might have just had a hissy fit. Are all tyres the same size ? Rattle gun best for the strut tops ive never managed a clio set with swan neck spanner

Probably just needs the toe setting properly. Check the inner tie rods and track rod ends for play before getting it set up and replace if necessary.

Ill give that a go @182_steve ? ive fitted the dampener and its cured 75% of the rattling so not as bad now but still room for improvement.

Still needs to go. Get a rubber dinghy instead

Thats how i done this one to be fair as first attempt in reverse did not work out so well. Ive fitted the dampener on the linkage now but not had chance to test drive. The extra weight makes the shift feel even better, will try it through the week and go from there.

I did initially set it up in reverse then had several attempts at resetting it. Can get all forward gears ok reverse is a little bit difficult. Any tips ? Will better adjustment make a difference as this had crossed my mind.

I have one from when the exhaust was first done, its a bit naughty though haha. I was going to get a drive by over Blakey yesterday but rain put a stop to it.

Ill strip it down and check it out. I can handle a bit of noise but rattling the full rpm range is highly annoying.
