I think the problem with gt5 is the fact that they designed it specifically to be used with a full seat and steering wheel, which in effect alienates a huge percentage of the people playing it. That said, i use a pad to play and dont think it is that bad, its just not what it could have been...
Here's one of mine since i put the different wheels on it.
If im completely honest im not sure im taken with the white wheels, think black maybe the way forward. (and they're a b**ch to keep clean!)
Thoughts welcome.
I want that little bit of stretch, without going too crazy with it.
Also, if i went to 205, i think it would start causing issues with the arches. It would also change the rolling radius, according to willthey.com.
Ok, so im thinking of getting new wheels for my chariot.
Im currently running some Speedline Chrono's in white which are 16x7 ET 35 on 195/45/16 tyres, with which ive absolutely no problems with scrubbing etc.
The ones i want are these...
Re: Could people post up there pic's and specs of their renaultsport to give me some
You could try looking in the Clio Media thread section for inspiration....
agree with whats said, the highest mpg ive had is 45.2, which im sure would've gone higher if it had been a longer journey.
I didnt get that out of a 1.2 punto i had a couple of years back, 40 if i was lucky. That was a money pit of a car, 2 head gaskets in the space of 40k. Shite.
I could well be up for this.
Will have to check my rota at work to see if I'm off on the 30th July.
Aside from that, I work in Lincoln and see loads of 172/182's down carholme road and thru town. Wondered if it was anyone off here.

The advert says that the centre bore is 72.1, and iirc my clio is 60.7. So is all i need some spigot rings to make them fit?
Thanks in advance.
On the subject of 1.6's. the new fiesta ST is a 1.6 Turbo, and thats gonna have 180bhp. 195 then isnt that much of a push or out of the realms of possibility.
Just look at the power produced by the VAG 1.4 twincharger lump.
What he said. It has taken me 12 years of driving, building up NCB, working on a career, so eventually i could afford to drive a decent motor. These things take time.
My first car was a £260 Austin Metro that didnt even have a stereo when i got it. My insurance was £700, and that was in 1998...
ive spoke to him once at the light at Beaumont Cross in Newark. Its no.422 iirc.
He told me he'd just took the engine apart becuase of a knocking sound, which turned out to be a shagged driveshaft.
Seemed like a nice bloke. :)
ive just been through every page of this thread. What an epic epic journey. Top marks for doing a lot of teh work yourself, i know i couldnt do it.
Cant wait to see pics of it out and on the road.
