When I press the button on my climate control the air con lights come on and I can hear the relays clicking but nothing comes through the vents (Hot or cold) Does it just need regassing? Its a 182 by the way.

Can I get a smaller rear wiper to fit a 182 rear? Something that looks like I already have but about 2 inches smaller as I have a TV antenna there and the wiper wil smash off it if used? Thanks

On the back of the clock, radio and temperature display does anyone know what colour wire does what on the grey connector block. I would be really grateful if a techie or someone could tell me. I need to know which wire works the brightness. Thanks

anyone know the best thing to use on the silver belts in the 182's to get them clean again. (The bloody mrs and her makeup/ friends with food etc etc) They are not stained badly just a bit grubby. Any suggestions would be appreciatted.

Do a search for dash removal. There are a few T20 torx screws to remove. There are 3 in the air vents at the top of the dash by the windscreen. 3 behind the silver strip on the passenger side underneath the airbag 1 under the silver strip on the drivers side 2 under the steering wheel on the...

As said above. Take the little black sensors (On the A pillers) off and swop the wires around. It will reduce the sensitivity by approx 50%. That should sort it.:D

The top of the dash will need to come off first and then you have access to the holder and screen. From there you can remove it or just check the connection. The dash removal guide is in the articles section iirc.

I can lend hand after we have finished installing mine. Think of this install as a guinea pig trial run for Daves!

Dave I cut the centre section to shape today. There are just the plastic rivit things left on it at the back. These will have to come off and we will have to think of a new way to get it to bond in. Its going to be a shite getting the old centre section out without damaging my dash but a...

Its probably the fuel mix or the coils. Get them to check all of the electrical connections and that the fuel mix is right on startup. Does it only happen on cold starts or all the time?

What exactly is the fault with the car? If its rattles they wont be able to fix it you will have to live with it like I have to....:mad:

If they couldnt fix the fault and depending on the severity I would expect a new car. (For example if the gearbox was knackered and they didnt know how to correct it I would want a new gearbox) Call Renault UK and complain in the first instance.

right so if I buy one of those on that link. Put the ps2 audio outs to it and then tune the standard HU to that frequency it should work?

So I definitely need to change the HU then? What would you suggest on a VERY limited budget and what am I looking for audio ins?

The problem is I want to keep the original headunit and cd changer. I dont want an aftermarket one in there. Is there no way that I could do something else so I can keep the HU? I am really limited on funds you see.
