That is indeed ‘not right’ so I’d say it may be a case of the setup being w**k rather than the shifter itself.

Aside from the rattle I think they’re awesome. Mine and my mate’s cars are pretty similar but he has a PMS shifter, it feels so much more fun to drive with the shifter over mine. I get back in mine and it’s like stirring a pudding in comparison.

Sounds interesting. My mate has one and I’ve always assumed it’s a design fault as his seems worse in ‘stick forward’ gears. Be interesting to see if Zeropoint get theirs to work better.

Always amazes me why more manufacturers never used the same head rest design as the Clio. It’s such a good idea to pivot from the top and is actually genuinely comfortable to lay your head back onto.

Suede is awesome. I have a really nice (found it still new) Momo suede wheel on mine but I’d recommend a Turn One wheel for reasonable money. I saw the make and assumed it’d be a branded Chinese cheaply but my friend has one and it’s Italian made (stamped in the back) OMP is nice too.

What are these Meglio clios like? Or more to the point, what is the reliability of the engine like? Can they take a track hammering?

I have heard that theory. It’s got a poly bushed dog bone (was just looking for a stock one). Not sure about the top gearbox mount as haven’t looked.

Removed the ktec engine mount and fitted a stock one! Ahhhh, so much better! God knows why anyone would want one. And on that subject, anyone want to buy one. It’s totally awesome and transforms the car. Such great feel of the engine and everything will develop cool motorsport sounds (rattles)

Wouldn’t say Zeropoint is just for show, they look well made. Not sure where you’ve seen the details as to what comes with it? I haven’t seen any info on their site for the 172/182 shifter, only the one pic on Facebook. They look extremely well made and I’ve no doubt they’ll perform well...

Yes. When I did the belts on mine the original crank pulley looked ropey too. I didn’t want to risk leaving it to fall apart after all the rest of the work so new one from pure motorsport held up the job.
