    JDM Imports - Canada

wow, I drove past shaganappi just a couple of weeks ago on my way to the airport! Probably drove right past your street. Small world. I can remember because there's just something about that name....

Would you spend £18,200 on a Clio 182?

If you're going up against a modern hot hatch such as the Fiesta.. Why not also go for a low boost engine rather than bodies? For 18k I'd be wanting heated seats and a great sound system as well. Not just a track car.

    The life of... SharkyUK's Trophy

I'm massively relieved to hear you haven't been charged much as of yet, as I was going to make the same point as @Starlet_gt in my first comment but it was already dragging on a little. As you've tried to stress over this thread, there's a huge amount of work required, I do understand that...

    The life of... SharkyUK's Trophy

Just scrolled back through this thread, it's been almost exactly a whole year since it got to Diamond Motors now? Something's just not right.

    The life of... SharkyUK's Trophy

Don't come on this forum much anymore bit I like keeping an eye on this thread. Anyway, It seems like Mick is kinda taking the piss to be honest, there's just no way it should be taking this long. Not when the guy supposedly knows Clio's like the back of his hands and has got surely got...

End of an era. The Cup went to it's new owner today ? Thanks to everyone who's offered advice and information on here, and I've made a few friends along the way! Been an epic car to own and will certainly find myself in another one in the future. James

Surely stud and nut conversion can be almost the last thing to be done? Shouldn't hold up progress, I assume it's just using normal wheel bolts at the moment?

    James' 172 Cup Project

Thanks. Looking to take a break from the endless money pits that are cars. I'm going to Canada next month to work in the mountain bike parks. Will certainly be back in a Clio again once I'm back

    James' 172 Cup Project

The beginning of the end. The Cup will be up for sale very shorty, so I am slowly taking it back to standard ready for the next owner. Bit of a shame because in it's current form the setup was absolutely spot on. Everything just came together perfectly to make a truly awesome little car...

    Airbox/Induction kit. Who runs what?.

Recently went back to standard air filter after running a KTEC induction for a few months, it may just be the 'placebo' affect but I'm sure it feels a little slower now... Maybe it's just because there's so much less drama without the noise.

The Mintest RB 182 in the country...

Racing Blue is by far the best colour for 182s! Liquid yellow comes in second but can't justify the price hike on them

    Joe's Black Sapphire M135i

My friend had one of these, unbelievable cars! I think it was mapped as well. I was pretty jealous every time I sat in it to be honest, with the DSG box the acceleration just pins you back into your seat like no car I've been in. He had a full custom decat fitted to his and it sounded...

Pride and joy ripped away in the night

That really sucks mate. What sort of person does something like that? The crash might have been an honest mistake but to drive off.... If that happened to me I'd give anything to get my hands on the perpetrator

    Belt and dephaser etc Derbyshire

They're by no means self-claimed Renault specialists, but from the work I've seen them do, I'd have thought they could do a belt change with their eyes shut. They fitted my cage, satchshift (same as PMS shifter) and did some re-wiring to my 106 GTi a couple of years ago. They had also built a...

Mick is deffo the go-to guy, but on the other hand, he's always super busy so you'll need to book well (weeks) in advance. Noble Motorsport in Chesterfield are a good alternative, really good guys there and their work is top notch.
