I searched ages for the bean colour but they where to far up north for me. I settled with a black gold in the end and im very happy with it. No problems yet, not even the cold start issues that appear often on here. I waited for a good one and it paid off. Just wish it was in the adam colour lol.
GTi180's do not make 180bhp. They are more around 160-165. Ive been a rolling road meet at RS Tuning where they all made around 160bhp on Pauls rollers. Dont go by book figures for weight either they weigh more then a clio 172 do.
I use to own a GTi138 and the difference between the 180 and...
Yeah I've been there with the swirls. Most of mine have gone now using a DA polisher and some Tropi-Care Swirl Cutter Plus. Worked a treat using some strong pads with the DA.
Talk to JMS Tuning. http://jmstuning.co.uk/
They are doing the job for a really good price and I could'nt reccomend them enough. There based around NW/N London.
Ide keep the 172 if I had one. Although I drive a 182 I would'nt feel the extra money for a 182 is worth it when the cars do near the same job just as good as eachother.
Englebert have you driven either of you NSX's in the last few months as I spotted one a few months back going along the A2 in the same colour as above. Looked stunning and it had gold wheels. Wasn't sure if it was you or not though...
Is it a mate or a ''work mate'' ?
If its a work mate then a falcon punch would be on its way but if its a ''mate mate'' then and uppercut would be fair.
Do you not have camara's in your work/workshop?
I fitted a Simota Aero Form induction from my old 206 GTi to the 182 and when RR'd it made 140bhp. After taken it off it made 166 with no filter...
There's no harm in trying it but IK's are designed for the car there sold for... well most decent one's anyway.
+1
I'm running a decat with the standard 182 exhaust and it does add a touch of rasp to it. Would say no gains are felt but I can't remember what it felt like with the cat either...
Noticed your car was up for sale in the cinema car park last night and notcied you had Recaro's. Any chance you would sell them for 182 Renault seats + cash your way :)
Great read Tom.
I know the feeling you mean, I commute just under 80 miles a day and it can make the car seem boring going round that sodding M25. When I get a week off or travel abroad in the odd month for work, I come back, jump strait in the Clio and Im as happy as the first day.
I was sitting on the inside lane poodling along and you was on the outside. Was about 6.40am this morning, heading anti clockwise J23-25?
Wheels looked nice :)
