Re: SE London/NE Kent Rolling Day
Even if you dont run mate, it will be a good day out. There should be a few from MeganeSport.net coming also, which includes a few r26's and r26.r's  That alone will make my day lol.

Check you coil pack is secured down properly. Mine was lose and made a large rattle from the engine. It had no play in it when moved with a hand but enough to rattle at 4-6k rpm.
Could the lamba sensor on the decat cause readings to effect the ecu? The decat had been on for over 6 months but the 7k kick has only occured over the last 2 months.
That's the AFR. Which is all kinds of wrong too lol.
Just a Ktec exhaust with decat and a V6 Aribox. These modifications where on before it started two months back.
It leans off far to early at 5k rpm and should be sitting at 13.1 I'm told. It goes from 14.5, (which is far to high) to as low...
OK, so had the car on the rollers yesterday to find out if this kick I was getting was really there. Suprise suprise it was.
After speaking to the owner at the dyno he said my AFR is pretty much pants and it's affecting my power output. He did state that he has never seen a kick that far to the...
Re: SE London/NE Kent Rolling Day
My 182 made 163bhp yesterday. V6 airbox and a Ktec exhaust only.
The main reason for it being low though is my air fual ratio is running so bad, that it's the same as a turbo'd Evo :(
After speaking with Bob at Hayes Dynotech Engineering, he would more then welcome a Cliosport.net rolling road day.
They have a 2008 Dyno Dynamics 450DS Rolling Road with the most up to date software and are known to always produce accurate results every time. Also when you receive your graphs...
Was about two cars behind the silver Zetec S that was following you through the high street. Sounded nice when you booted it away from the Ford.
I was in a BG182 too :D
Blimin' heck, since the last Ipswich meet it's changed a lot and that was only last month lol. Keep up the hard work mate.
I should pay more attention to threads like these :dapprove:
Took this last year when out with the old man. Remember having a slight brown pants moment when it continued running towards me.
Shotgun later showed it tho...
Gorgeous animal IMO.
I think you best best is to get it looked at ASAP. I'm no mechanic but If it means taking a day or two off work I would mate.
When you put your foot flat down how does it pick up? Does it run lumpy or accelerate normally as to how it should?
Sorry to hear this fella.
If all fails in finding an engine try www.breakeryard.com
My old 206GTi lump went pop and they found me a new lump the same day. Highly recommend them as I know how your feeling mate.
I sat In a 250 the other day. The driving position is immense but I guess that's because the Clio is so poor. Nevertheless it looked and felt like a quality built car but I'de still pick the Focus if it was me.
I've been in this boat for a while now. Can't decide if I want to keep the Clio or not. I think in the long run a test drive is a must.
Stupid thing is though, I'm in this mind twist because of a test drive. Since the day I drove one, I wanted one :(
IIRC dont the Megane 225/230's have a similer issue when mapping to the standard ecu. Something along the lines of adapting back to standard.
I'm not 100% sure on this but I'm pretty sure I heard it being mentioned a few times.
Was in a friends car (silver 172) ans spotted you comming the opposite way, just near the Shell garage. 2:30pm.
And yes, that wa me pointing at you like a weirdo. Which you returned with a wtf face.
Car looked minto :approve: Howdi
