Best get new dampers and springs at the same time. If you lower the car on any springs damper life will be reduced by how muc noone has realy proved there wear qucikly and people end up going to coilovers or changing the dampers usually after a while. If you cannot afford new dampers as well I...

To check for a broken drive shafts check the rubber gaiters see if any grease has leaked out. the wheel being wonky you need to get the tracking done any good garage will lock the wheel straight ahead when they set it up. Thats will cost you about £30.

Yep thats the basic idea. I'll have a look tomorrow what needs to be done. Whilsts the ABS shouldn't be an issue as the sensors are the same I think I have a safe way of switiching off the ABS.

You need someone who understand how dampers work to explain but Gaz valving in the dampers are very poor.

Rust is the biggest problem but you already know that. Electrics can be problems. Whats about a Wiloiams they cna be bought for not much more these days insurance is the only negative IMO over the valver.

Yep same. Drums are better IMO. There cheaper to replace, last longer, and less problems I wanted drums on my Williams which was used on track.

There no proper track setup the only proper one is what the race cars use and thats to hard for road use. Stock setups fine for track use just it rolls a bit. I don't mind taking passengers but I'm sure others with quicker cars will take you out.

Other sized wipers do fit get the bigger ones as whiclt they don't touch the whole windscreen they do cover more of it. I think mine are both 21 inches and size matter.

Arr right that bits cheap I got a whole hub including that bracket for £40 second hand. I think best idea is as you said hammer and grease a new one isn't that much though.

Re: Part Number Request - 172 Calliper Very expensive new infact stupid money get them refurbed for about £100 I think.

Ktec is the only one which uses the standard calipers the rest all use 4 pot etc calipers which puts the cost up massivly.

Mosty people with Gaz coilover get rid of them very soon there a poor damper and the springs are very hard.

You can go very low about 90~120mm or so depends the exact tyre size you use. However thats a real 90mm most 60mm kits lower your 60 at the back and 40 or so at the front.

Handling its not to shabyy for a shopping car. Specification. Built qulaity is decient Looks a higher quality to other similar cars IMO. Fuel economy Low running costs. Relaibility of it even with the abuse I give it.
