Tell tim to look at his right knee, just above it should be 2 buttons and a dial on a flat section just above the cubby hole (if he doesnt hace cruise control, he might only have 1 button). If he does have TC, it will be the button on the right labelled ESP. Hit that, and the light on the dash...

Sounds a bit dodgy if they dont want to know about performance and cosmetic mods. Get your own policy, much cheaper in the long run. Plus youll be driving illegally if your the main user of the car and your dads down as the the main driver.

A non permanent solution would be electrical tape. A permanent solution would be to remove the cover and fill the hole with fibreglass, or you could use filler and the paint over it with spray paint and gloss available from halfords. Glad my advice helped, let me know how it goes Ian

Exactly the same. Goes up to 42+ on long motorway journeys, and if you reset it as you leave the petrol station and go straight to the mway you can hit 55+. On the track i had it down to 11 though:oops:
