Do not try and bend the spoon. Thats impossible. Instead... only try to realize the truth. There is no spoon. Then youll see, that it is not the spoon that bends, it is only...
If im not mistaken, youve got the quickest colour there. The silver and red ones are renowned for being slower. ;)
Looks like a great car youve picked up there and good that youve kept it in the club.
Now, remember to switch off the TC/ESP before you set off everytime.
The TC sysytem on the Clio is dump. If you nail if from standing, it will still light up the tyres and take a few seconds to catch up with the fact they wheels are spinning. Even then it doesnt do a very good job of it.
Look at it another way, if you have TC on, then you also have ESP on...

Looks the best in white.
Shame im getting out of the fun sector. Have to be more sensible according to the misss, so its a 330ci Club Sport or a 350Z for me then...
Do you ever do track days?
172 full fat, is an ideal compromise. Has cruise, climate, 1/2 leather & Alcantara, ABS, ESP and Spare alloy wheel and has plenty of go and still handles great in corners.
172 has none of the above and is slightly quicker round a track in the hands of a competant...
Excellent price, Go give it a look.
Also, its Mondial Blue.
Lastly, give it the usual checks but ask if the centre section has had to be replaced to cure the 4k rattle (if it got it)

As i missed it saying it was a cup.
Optimax is better than 95/97 for:
a) A smoother tick over.
b) Cleaner engine
c) More MPG.
Whether or not there is a perfomance gain is debateable, i find there is defo a difference at 4.5/5k revs using optimax over the 95ron. Esso 97 is the worst of the bunch, i think my car wa nearly...
Looks ok. Bit dirty, but they can valet it before you get it. My sis has one and i drove it on monday for the day, handles pretty well for a shopping trolley type car. Good MPG, seats are really comftable and hold you well (theyre the same as the cup seats), and it goes ok for a 1.2.
Only...
Stuv6 works for michelin i read somewhere, and has confirmed there is only 1 type of tyre available aftermarket. Unless even michelin dont know whats going on.
I agree phoenixy. The actual and published times differ because of how they are tested. Under normal driving conditions the time will be quicker
Renault still claim the 172-182 do the same 0-60 times, presumably for insurance groupings.
