Has anyone got a how to guide on replaceing a coil and identifying which one is faulty? I've now had 2 go this year and at £80 a time plus towing charges to get it to the garage its peeing me off. I'd love to have a go, but not sure what to do and how to identify the bad one. Thanks Glyn

Yeah fine, its a tinted lacker not full on paint so it's fine.

Those don't have the reflectors, they would need stick on reflectors for the MOT. Thats why I didn't want them. Also the police are more likely to pull you for something that is blatently not legal rather than ones showing the reflector which are legal.

Yeah I'm not liking the stripes as much now, but slightly prefer with rather than without so they are staying for the mo. The lights need the reflector to pass the MOT and stop me getting pulled over. I've seen ones where they have left the triangular reflector and that looks w**k!

Yeah am slighlty worried about that in the future, but I only have the crappy rubber splitter so not too fussed!

Yep i do, I hate the standard lights and these are the best of the aftermarket ones I have found. cheers

Just make sure you don't cover all the reflector if you tint your own.

I was quoted £500 for the Spax spring and shock kit. The Ktec quote was the most competitive I received.

Inc fitting it was £364.

It had the Apex Sport kit - Shocks and Springs done at Ktec on Sat. Does feel better, much stiffer, but not OTT. I'm very glad I got it done!

Got rid of the lexus lights after finally finding these. Also these are not classed as a modification by Tesco, so I was able to get the lowering done. What do you think?

Hi, Now got the car booked in at Ktec on 6th October for the 60mm Apex lowering kit. Would it be worth getting Powerflex PU bushes at the same time? Do they make a difference? Cheers

^ ha ha no worries will do! They are always selling the ph2 versions, but to fit them to mine require a bit of rewiring and new bulb holders, been waiting ages for the ph1's. If you like them though, this guy makes them to order, you can have with or without reflector...

They are quality, which is why I just bought them, been wathcing them all week after getting outbid on his last MK2 Ph1 set. I'm glad nobody bidded after your post!!
