I'd recommend one. As said just ensure you can afford it on a students salary, as with all cars they do need money spent on them to keep them in good condition. Apart from that I don't think there are many cars in the same price bracket that are as fun or as quick to drive!

As said previously my 172 51 plate with 28K miles cost £5000, private. It had already been serviced before i brought it. I've had the cambelt changed along with both the cam pulleys for £600. Steer clear of renault for servicing!

Re: RR results for 1*2s It would be good to see all these cars run on the same rolling road. I know results still wouldn't be 100% accurate due to operator error and other variables, but you'd get a much better representation of the figures with them all being on the same day and same-ish...
