I personally didn't feel that my car felt that different after the inlet work. Once it was remapped though it was quite a bit quicker lower down the rev range and is so much smoother.
I don't think just fitting the inlets is the right way to go, to get the best out of it I think a remap is...

The remap hasn't added that much to top end but it's got rid of the flatspot I had before 3000rpm. It feels smoother throught the whole rev range now!
The decat for me made the most difference!!!
The 3 dr cossie has been to 3 rolling roads and has posted within 3% figures for each run. As said in my first post I'm not saying mine is 100% accurate but I'm chuffed to bits!

I don't like the rest of the stickers but the chequers over the bonnet and down the sides look brilliant! Did you say you designed those ones yourself??
