Only the 172 cup doesnt have ABS everything else does. As for the clunk, its not official but most agree its the ABS self test. It only occurs once after each start up and wont occur again until you turn off the ignition and re start. Im happy with that explanation Ian

oh, and it would be quicker round a track with it off as the ESP is not trying to minutely adjust the car in each corner. You might not feel it but i bet its slowing the car down when you start pushing the car to its limits

Sounds like its only got the std immobilser, and yeah £1500 is going to be the upper limit. The thing that might hinder the sale is the scoop, it wont be to everyones taste. Also, are they rear disc brakes or just fakey covers?
