Yeah the open ones are the loudest mate like my olden (now on steve's 172) but imo the enclosed one like the BMC i have on mine now is not only a better sound but better for performance aswell!!! Steve was so impressed with the open one he had off me that hes now gone back to his airbox!!! Lol

Iv got a BMC and Superchip on mine. Seems to work well and the pull in the higher gears from lower revs seems to be better. BMC give a nice deep noise and imo looks superior to the viper under the bonnet too!!! I like those GTi 180's but i thought they were alot more weighty than the...

I wouldnt change the colour personally mate as, as said you may have trouble selling it on as most will want a factory colour.
